Tori Amos Inks With Universal Republic

NEW YORK (Billboard) - Tori Amos has signed a deal with Universal Republic and is eyeing a late spring/early summer 2009 release for her tenth album.

The singer-songwriter recorded with Atlantic from 1992 to 2001, after which she signed with Epic. That deal, mum and dad tattoos which yielded three studio albums, ended this summer.

Amos' new album will be a blend of music and corresponding visuals shot on HD and Super 8 over the course of the past year.

Amos is also writing a musical, evolis tattoo 'The Light Princess,' for the British National Theaterin July unveiled a graphic novel'Comic Book Tattoo,' based on her catalog.
