Bakersfield Police are searching for a man who robbed a local couple, while impersonating a police officer.
Two victims where in their apartment when the suspect broke in the door and yelled Bakersfield Police, bluetrek tattoo said Sgt. Greg Terry.
The suspect stole the female victims wallet and took off through the apartment complex. The male victim chased the suspect and saw him get into a large U-haul truck, tattoo side effects added Terry.
The robbery happened in the 800 block of New Stine around 9:45 a.m. Wednesday Morning.
The suspect is described as a: white man, 28-30 years old, 5'9 , 180 pounds, tattoo removal before and after with blonde hair and a mustache.
He was wearing a black baseball cap, black sweatshirt, dark colored pants,black dress shoes.
Je also had a tattoo on the left side of his neck.
